Philippe is honing his skills with animal sculpting by playing with expressions, styles and media. He is currently studying animal anatomy in-depth for upcoming classes he will offer on the subject. Some of his masks are over-sized in high-fired clay to be exhibited outdoors. For the versions of the finished pieces the colors are obtained by the use of different types of clay slip. We also have a new series of animal plaster casts available as reference for sculptors, painters and art educators.
