Sculpting Workshops and Classes

Sculpting Instruction

Sculpting Classes

Portrait sculpting classes include lectures on anatomy, emphasizing bone structure and discussions on expression and ethnic differences. Three days of intensive work are spent sculpting a head in water-based clay with step-by-step instruction. Please see our Seminar FAQs for more info.

Due to small class size, individuals receive plenty of one to one sculpting instruction, while still being encouraged to explore their own styles. Live models will be used during class. Previous students range from beginners to professional artists. All materials are provided for use during the seminar. Cost for the three-day sculpting seminars runs between $425-$495 depending on class location.

Transportation and Accommodations

Rochester, NY is the closest airport at approximately a forty-five minute drive to classes held at our NY studio. We strongly recommend a rental car during your stay, as we will not be able to provide transportation. Accommodation information can be found on our links and resources page.
