2018 seminar dates will post in early January.

Sculpting Workshops and Classes

Individuals will receive one to one sculpting instruction using water-based clay only from Mr. Faraut, while still being encouraged to explore their own styles. Live models will be used during class.

Previous students range from beginners to professional artists. The goal of both the portrait and figure seminars is to teach sculptors how to improve their techniques and speed. Finished pieces are not the goal of the classes though students are welcome to keep any or all of the projects that they have created.

All materials are provided for use during the seminar. Class hours for sessions held at Philippe's NY studio are from 9-4:30 daily and enrollment ranges from 16-20 students. Cost for the three-day sculpting seminars is $595. Five-day classes are $950.

A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit will be required for registration. Balance for the seminars will be due 6 weeks prior to the first day of class. A link will be sent at that time to pay online or payment can be mailed. Once balance is paid it is non-refundable.

Due to the limited number of sessions offered we ask that students register for only one session per calendar year.
